Dr. Lance Manning is a board-certified surgeon who returned to Northwest Arkansas from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. While at Mayo Clinic, he completed an internship in General Surgery, a residency in Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and went on to become a Chief Resident Associate and instructor of Otolaryngology. Dr. Gareth Eck holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville and Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. He completed both a general surgery internship and a surgical residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Eck has a special interest in the surgical care of patients with cancer. He has established a large practice in the care of patients with breast cancer. He has specialized training in ultrasound biopsy of the breast. He offers sentinel node mapping and breast-conserving treatment. Dr. Eck also has a large practice established in the treatment of colorectal cancer and offers colonoscopy as well as upper endoscopy treatment services. He offers surgical treatment for thyroid cancer, stomach cancer, pancreas cancer and malignant melanoma (a type of skin cancer). He also performs endocrine surgeries.

Physician Spotlight: Jeffrey Kellar, M.D. Specialty: General & Endoscopy
Dr. Jeffrey Kellar completed Medical School and General Surgery Residency at UAMS. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and Board Certified in General Surgery. Dr. Kellar is comfortable with patients of all ages from the newborn to nonagenarians (90-year-olds & older). One special interest includes Minimally Invasive Surgery, using the laparoscope in any case possible and the smallest incisions possible when the laparoscope is not an option.
Another special interest is in reflux and surgical correction of GERD and esophageal reflux. Developing a special technique for appendectomy in small children, and expanding this to adult surgery, gives him the capability to perform nearly scarless surgery in many cases.
Colon cancer screening, prevention, and treatment are other areas of expertise. Dr. Kellar also excels in the repair of abdominal and inguinal hernia. Getting you back to a normal day as quickly as possible is his major goal.
